- Nigeria-based NeuRaL AI, a company specialising in artificial intelligence solutions, has launched REACTOR, an AI platform designed to assist businesses and organisations in seamlessly integrating Generative AI into their operations.
- The package is a paid solution with a starting fee of ₦99,000 per month, excluding VAT. Developers and software companies aiming to build AI applications can host their custom model, trained on their own data, using REACTOR for a monthly fee of ₦99,000.
- NeuRaL AI will assist businesses from initial setup to ongoing maintenance, offering guidance throughout the entire process, as well as training for their teams.
NeuRaL AI is offering a free 1-hour GenAI adoption workshop for companies based in Lagos and a virtual session for companies outside Lagos that wish to participate.
NeuRaL AI provides support to organisations aiming to build and deploy Large Language Models (LLMs). Its REACTOR platform is a composable, ready-to-use data and AI computing infrastructure. NeuRaL AI’s architecture grants users access to a dedicated “Metal Vault” within its virtual compute cluster data centre (REACTOR), complete with a dedicated IP and interface.
According to NeuRaL AI’s General Manager, Chidera Anyanebechi, REACTOR simplifies the process by eliminating the need for self-hosting and complex infrastructure management. Additionally, it removes the necessity for operating machine learning pipelines, caching, or query engines, and reduces the requirement for managing large data volumes and hiring expensive AI engineers or operations teams.
The company plans to demonstrate to businesses that they do not need technical expertise to maximise Generative AI.
“AI has become a leveller for all businesses irrespective of size. We handle all the heavy lifting for you,” Anyanebechi added.
NeuRaL is making this move at a time when Nigeria is also rolling out AI-focused initiatives. Recently, the government announced plans to build research centres, in areas including AI, across the six geopolitical zones in the country.
In April 2024, the government disclosed plans to enlist 120 experts to set up a co-created framework to drive AI adoption in the country and has drafted its initial National AI Strategy.
The National AI Strategy received $3.5 million in seed funding from potential partners, consisting of $1.5 million in direct funding and an additional $2 million.
Moreover, reports predict that the AI market in the country will reach $0.89 billion in 2024 and is expected to reach a market value of $8.75 billion by 2030.
