Fembol Group, one of Nigeria’s fastest-growing logistics and supply chain companies, has concluded the maiden edition of the Fembol Student Grant, awarding ₦5 million in funding to outstanding student entrepreneurs across Nigeria.
The initiative attracted over 500 applications from students nationwide, reflecting strong interest in innovation, entrepreneurship, and problem-solving among young Nigerians. Following an initial screening process, shortlisted applicants participated in a one-day entrepreneurship bootcamp focused on idea validation, business fundamentals, and pitch preparation.
From the bootcamp, 10 finalists emerged and each received 200 thousand naira to further refine and develop their ideas ahead of the grand finale pitch event.
After a competitive pitch session, three student-led startups were selected as winners based on innovation, scalability, and potential impact:
Winner: Pemnia Wellness — founded by Opeyemi Adebisi

1st Runner-Up: Versatile Energy — founded by Nura Idris

2nd Runner-Up: Save Extra Ecopads — founded by Joy Mamkwe

Speaking on the initiative, Femi Bewaji, Managing Director of Fembol Group, said:
“At Fembol, we believe innovation thrives when young people are given the right support at the right time. The Student Grant is our way of investing in ideas that can shape the future and empowering students to move from concept to execution.”
The Fembol Student Grant is part of the company’s broader Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy, focused on youth empowerment, innovation, and sustainable economic development. Beyond financial support, the program provides participants with exposure, mentorship, and real-world entrepreneurial experience.
Fembol plans to expand the initiative in subsequent editions, reinforcing its commitment to supporting the next generation of founders while strengthening its role as a purpose-driven brand within and beyond the logistics industry.
