Fuelmetrics Limited, a leading energy automation company in Africa has rolled out its IOT enabled forecourt controllers for fuel station’s automation. The company advocated that the solution will help filling station owners monitor and control their stations which will prevent employee theft of product and money in the station as well as win the trust of more customers to patronize the stations.

These one of its kind controllers are designed to be installed as addons to the pump compared to existing controllers which are installed in the back office. This means stations can be automated without expensive civil work and downtime associated with station automation.

The controllers designed in Nigeria are GPRS and Wi-Fi enabled, allowing them to synchronize data with cloud-based servers. Station owners and managers can access their dashboard using the Epump web-based app on www.epump.com.ng or using Epump station companion on Android and IOS.

Some of the benefits of using the technology include real time reporting of sales activities, remote update of pump dispense price, reduced bank POS chargebacks, e-fueling, and customer loyalty integration.

Several Oil companies within the Nigerian market have already been onboarded, some of which include; Eterna PLC, Rainoil, and other independent oil markers.
