APEX Network and AltSchool Africa today announced a joint scholarship initiative that will award 1,000 fully funded placements in the AltSchool Crypto Course to qualified Nigerians. The programme, which opens for applications immediately, is designed to close the gap between Nigeria’s high rate of crypto adoption and the structured financial knowledge required to participate safely and intelligently.
Nigeria ranks among the top countries globally for crypto adoption. Yet the majority of participation remains driven by speculation, social influence, and incomplete information rather than foundational understanding. This initiative directly addresses that gap — not by discouraging participation, but by ensuring it is grounded in knowledge.
The AltSchool Crypto Course covers the history of money, blockchain infrastructure, safe custody practices, institutional perspectives on digital assets, and Nigeria’s evolving regulatory landscape. The final module is dedicated specifically to regulatory frameworks and compliance awareness — a deliberate signal that this programme prioritises responsible participation over hype.
“At AltSchool Africa, we believe access to quality education should never be determined by your financial position. This scholarship is about more than crypto — it is about giving Nigerians the foundation to make informed financial decisions in a rapidly changing world. We are proud to partner with APEX Network on an initiative that puts structured knowledge first.” Titilola Oludimu, Business & Partnership Lead, AltSchool Africa
The scholarship is open to all Nigerians above the age of 18 with no prior experience in blockchain or cryptocurrency required. Applications will be accepted through a dedicated landing page, with recipients selected on a rolling basis until all 1,000 placements are filled. The full application and enrolment process is expected to be completed within an eight-week campaign window.
For APEX Network, the initiative forms part of a broader strategy to position the platform at the intersection of crypto access and financial education in Africa. By sponsoring structured literacy at scale, APEX Network is making a direct investment in the quality and confidence of Nigeria’s crypto community.
“We have always believed that informed participation is better for everyone — for users, for platforms, and for the long-term credibility of crypto in Africa. Partnering with AltSchool Africa on this scholarship is our commitment to that belief. We are not just funding course access; we are investing in a generation of Nigerians who will engage with digital assets on their own terms, with clarity and confidence.” Abraham Efemena, CEO, APEX Network
Applications for the scholarship open today.
