A couple of weeks ago, the Top 5-in-5 Masterclass was launched and so far, six episodes have been released. It’s a web series where experts share 5 quality and practical tips in 5 minutes. Hence the name, Top 5-in-5.

As a bank with an enormous interest in SMEs, FCMB is aware of the physical and intellectual challenges small business owners face due to their day-to-day interactions with these owners under various SME initiatives and products. This birthed the idea for this platform - to give business owners necessary information to help their business scale up to success and sustainability.

Although the primary audience of this platform are business owners, the contents apparently have some applicable knowledge for both potential business owners, working-class, and potential working-class individuals.

This web series has been running for five weeks and the existing videos share insights on: Building a Sustainable Business that Outlives You, Differentiating Your Business Through Innovation, Raising Funds for Your Business, and Getting More Work Done by Delegating. The latest video featured James Ilori, CEO of FCMB Asset Management, who talked about Diversifying Your Sources of Investment Income. Other speakers who spoke on the topics include Bisi Adeyemi, Kelvin Balogun, Yomi Badejo-Okusanya, and Bukola Smith.

Each lesson lasts for five minutes, but it doesn’t stop there. Users have free access to download the five-minute lesson, the longer video, and a pdf document, which can work as a lesson note for future reference for those who might prefer text to visuals. On this platform, a user also has the opportunity to request for whatever topic interests them; this can be taken into consideration based on popular demand.

Thus far, this platform has impacted thousands of users, as people come on board daily, learning, commenting, and getting prompt answers and help links from FCMB. This is an educational opportunity offered by FCMB and entrepreneurs, the working-class, and even students should not miss out.
