During his four-day visit to Nigeria, Patrick Brown, and delegates from Brampton, will be meeting key traditional leaders in Nigeria as well as stakeholders of the Nigerian tech community.
Discussions around Nigerian tech will centre on showcasing the best of Nigerian tech startups, exposing them to investment opportunities in Canada, and possible collaboration and partnership with the Canadian tech startup ecosystem.
As the Mayor of Brampton, Canada, Patrick Brown is also a youth advocate, having begun his political career serving as the president of the Progressive Conservative Youth Federation (PCYF) at the age of 20.
He was also the vice president of Progressive Conservative Party of Canada. He was also deputy chairman of the International Young Democrat Union (IYDU) representing Canada on international assistance projects.
