Founder of Alibaba Group, Jack Ma is in Nigeria

Co-founder and former executive chairman of Alibaba Group, Jack Ma is in Nigeria to attend the Nigeria Digital Economy Summit (NDES) in the nation’s capital, Abuja.

According to the pictures, Ma arrived with other business people whose identities are yet to be confirmed.

He will join a panel discussion at the summit and also address attendees.

After a visit to Rwanda and Kenya in 2017 that marked his first time on the continent, Ma had launched a $10 million fund for African entrepreneurs.

There is no further news on Ma’s agenda in Nigeria beyond the summit in Abuja.

He is the second global tech founder and investor to visit Nigeria in one week after co-founder and CEO of social media service, Twitter, and mobile payments company, Square, Jack Dorsey toured the country.
