A big congratulations to two of our Techpoint Build alumni, myPadi and The Footwear Academy.

On Thursday, myPadi announced its latest seed funding round backed by Silicon Valley-based EchoVC. Meanwhile, The Footwear Academy on Friday won $50,000 in top prize money at the ‘Proudly Made in Aba’ Hackathon. Tochukwu Clinton, the Aba-based inventor we met during the course of the Techpoint Innovation Tour of Southern Nigeria, won the $30,000 second prize money.

We couldn’t be more proud of these guys and we wish them the best in their future endeavours.
