Do you know Andela? The company paying Africans to learn how to become world class developers? Andela Kenya is looking for ambitious, talented young people passionate about technology and keen with a desire to become world class developers.
Andela Kenya was launched in July 2015 and has managed to train 30 software developers in a few months time frame. Most of the developers have relocated to client locations in New York, San Francisco, Arusha, London, and Lagos to work.
True to its original blueprint, Andela Kenya would pay the young developers to learn instead of the traditional education method of charging tuition. Andela will provide the aspiring developers training and mentoring to thrive as full-time remote developers for companies around the world.
The applicants chosen who would be known as the Andela Fellows would receive continuous professional development and employment with Andela. And afterwards, they are expected to start tech companies, work as tech innovators in Africa, or continue to remain in Andela’s employ to continue her training of 100,000 young Africans across the continent.
If you feel you meet these basic requirements and need a verified platform like Andela, then you need to apply before January 6th, 2016. If there are further questions and inquiries for Andela Kenya regarding the fellowship, you can send an email to kenya.apply@andela.com.
