This discovery exercise on hybrid work carried out by the Spacefinish and Steelcase team reveals that 66% of individuals want to work in the office for a majority of the month, while 34% of individuals want to continue working from home. According to the discovery exercise, factors in the workplace that play a pivotal role in reshaping a company’s brand culture and workforce retention included workplace flexibility, community, productivity, growth, talent attraction and retention, safety, inspiration, environmental stewardship, and technology, to mention a few.

The Union Bank, innovation hub ‘SpaceNXT’ designed by the Spacefinish team, is a perfect example of a workspace that incorporates the future of work. A space that provides a creative environment, uses interactive elements and offers privacy zones for employees. The custom-comfort furniture solutions by Spacefinish provide a sustainable infrastructure along with an eco-friendly and bespoke design.

The Spacefinish and Steelcase research also shows that culture is prioritized by employees when deciding on what companies to work for, leading to talent attraction and retention for organizations. However, incorporating the future of work is beyond trends and technologies; for Spacefinish it is about creating spaces that inspire people to do their best work and achieve optimal results.
