7 things to expect at Techpoint Build 2021

In case you aren’t counting, Techpoint Build 2021 is only 67 days away. Techpoint Build is our flagship conference that brings together all players in the African startup community.

The 2021 edition, themed The next frontier, is geared towards building actual frontiers that enable tech development for Africa and how we can prepare ourselves to harness the opportunities across industries.

Here is what to expect at Techpoint Build 2021 


Techpoint Africa’s Pitchstorm is a pan-African startup competition focused on amplifying the work of startups pushing the envelope with world-class solutions. 

Now in its third instalment, Pitchstorm 3.0 will aim to identify one startup that best illustrates and executes its industry’s vision. 


Pitchstorm 3.0 will be specific along the following industries:

  • Health and Wellbeing
  • Media and Entertainment
  • Financial Inclusion
  • Food Security
  • Education

Like previous editions of Techpoint Build Exhibition, this year’s exhibition floor will welcome many brands and companies looking to tap into the Techpoint Build community/audience.

Techpoint Africa will be hosting its second awards ceremony to celebrate startups, entrepreneurs, investors, and innovation in Nigeria.
