After working with MTN for at least seven years -- starting in 2012 as CEO of MTN Cyprus, van Dalsen will be replaced by Bart Hofker, the CEO of MTN Rwanda. While Mitwa Kaemba Ng’ambi, who is coming from Airtel Tigo Ghana where she was CEO, will be taking over from Hofker as the new CEO of MTN Rwanda.

Ng’ambi previously served as Chief Marketing Officer at MTN Benin and held other roles at MTN Zambia.

Freddy Tchala, on the other hand, will be leaving MTN after 17 years working with the company both in Cameroon and Côte d’Ivoire.

MTN has not revealed who will be replacing Tchala yet. In a statement on Tuesday, the company said they “will make an announcement in due course.”
