Yele Badamosi, founder of Microtraction and former country manager at Starta has joined Binance, one of the world’s biggest cryptocurrencies exchanges as director of Binance Labs.

In an official announcement on its Medium page, Binance said;

“Yele will focus on developing the blockchain ecosystem in Africa, as well as sourcing blockchain projects and leading the Lagos chapter of our Incubation Program, a 10-week incubator beginning in March designed to help entrepreneurs deliver products with clear product-market fit.”

Following up to the announcement, Yele posted a thread of tweets via his personal Twitter handle stating his personal mission and what he hoped to achieve at the new job.

Yele launched Microtraction in July 2017  to invest early in the most remarkable technical founders as well as provide support to build world-class startups.

As an addition to the team, Yele Bademosi will be pivotal to expanding Binance’s  “global footprint and network of blockchain developer teams”.
