Nigerians could reportedly pay up to ₦100k to get approval for social media ads 

The Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON) has released vetting rates for ads on social media. The Council will charge between ₦7,500 and ₦100,000 to vet the social media ads before it goes live. This is coming after ARCON said in 2022 that advertisers will be required to obtain pre-exposure approval for all adverts.
