Since Monday, online savings platform, PiggyVest has been experiencing some glitches on both its web and mobile app. Users have already begun to take notice.

Users who took to the startup’s Twitter handle lodged complaints of inability to log into their account on either platforms, transaction failures, non-reversal of unsuccessful withdrawal, amongst others.

There were few complaints from new prospects who simply wanted to create a PiggyVest account but couldn’t get around it. Strangely, some users have had no interruption to their Piggyvest service.

A call was placed to PiggyVest’s customer care service to find out the real situation. The representative dismissed any alarm, saying that it is only a network glitch that might be specific to Airtel and Spectranet users, and that affected users should clear their cache in order to resolve arising issues.

The suggested fix however only works for the web interface and not the app.

Similar words of assurance were also made in a tweet via Piggyvest’s official Twitter account 20 hours ago.

This is not the first time such an incident is occurring though. About a year ago users complained about PiggyVest’s mobile app and website not working.

It should be noted that PiggyVest earlier in the year re-branded on the account of restrategising and more importantly, to upgrade its app to include more services.

Hopefully, the online savings platform would find a lasting fix to this problem in no time.
