The first Bitcoin conference in Africa is set to hold at the  Atlantic Imbizo Conference and Function Studio, Cape Town, South Africa on the 16th and 17th of April, 2015.

The Bitcoin Africa Conference will focus on showing African entrepreneurs the potentials of adopting the cryptocurrency and is targeted at investors, startups and bitcoin enthusiasts in Africa. Issues of  how the cryptocurrency can be integrated as payment options for entrepreneurs, and the implications of its adoption in Africa will also be tabled.

According to the organizers,

The Bitcoin Africa Conference will bring together merchants, investors, venture capitalists, start-ups and Bitcoin enthusiasts who are all looking to move Bitcoin forward in Africa.
