Launched in September 2017, the online video rental and distribution marketplace is driven by a confident three-man team; Nasiru Tijani (Founder), Ayoola Ayo-Ajayi (Content Manager) and Funmi Famosa (Social Media Manager).
According to the founder, Tijani, Shugaban is not only a solution provider but also the future of Africa’s movie industry. His reason; the platform allows viewers to opt for the pay-as-you-go model as against the high cost of subscription for cable networks and other online platform.
Shugaban is poised to revolutionise the way Nigerians access movies online by providing videos to viewers via the most effective and convenient media — could be laptops, phones, Smart TVs and other mobile devices — at affordable prices.
