At Lagos Startup Expo 2.0 by Techpoint Africa, founders and startup operators will have the rare opportunity to learn from one of Africa’s most seasoned tech entrepreneurs and investors.
We’re excited to announce that Ike Eze, Managing Partner at Beta.Ventures and a three-time Silicon Valley founder with a successful $130 million exit, will lead a powerful masterclass titled: “Begin with the End: How to Build Your Startup with the Exit in Mind.”
This session is designed to shift your perspective from simply building and scaling to doing so with strategic clarity and purpose. Most startup founders obsess over growth, but few truly prepare for the endgame. Be it an acquisition, merger, or IPO, exits usually don’t happen by luck; they happen by design.
About the Masterclass
Eze will demystify the exit process and unpack the strategies that smart founders use to make their startups exit-ready from day one in this session. Attendees will explore how to identify the right business structures, build operational systems that attract acquirers, and position themselves for high-value outcomes.
You’ll gain insight into what potential acquirers and investors are looking for, how timing plays into valuation, and how to send the right signals to the market as you grow. Whether you’re at Seed, Series A, or gearing up for Series B, this session will show you how to lay the foundation for a successful exit, even if it’s years away.
Who Should Attend
This masterclass is ideal for:
- Startup founders at all stages (especially Seed to Series B)
- Business development and strategy leads in growth-stage startups
- Investor-backed founders planning for long-term value creation
- Operators and executives involved in M&A or fundraising planning
