This week, Twitter Nigeria was thrown into a satellite TV frenzy with the announcement of TSTV, a new Nigerian-owned satellite TV service. TSTV will launch in Nigeria on October 1 with the promise of affordable subscription, pay per view and a lot more.

The man with a plan

Earlier this week, Mr. Adebayo Shittu, the Minister of Communications expressed his confidence over succeeding the current governor of Oyo state come 2019.

He believes he is the right man for the job considering his track record. However, many Nigerians do not think so.

All we can do is wait to see how things unfold in 2019.

This year's edition of the annualΒ Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) strike ended this week. The union expects the government to meet their demands before the end of October, else they embark on another strike. As expected, Nigerians took to social media:
