The global music ecosystem has long operated as a set of disconnected systems—creation, discovery, and consumption existing on separate platforms with little cohesion. Whisul, a technology startup, is building towards addressing this.

A step towards this mission is Whisul’s proprietary AI music creation engine, designed to produce music with a high degree of cultural authenticity. The system is tuned to include and adequately cater to genres such as Afrobeats, Afrohouse, Amapiano, Reggaeton & more—styles that are often oversimplified by existing generative tools.

Built on a foundation of ethical data practices, Whisul’s engine respects creator rights and reflects real-world composition patterns, including rhythmic structure, arrangement logic, and layered instrumentation. This would enable creators and brands to move from idea to production-ready, saving cost and time without losing the integrity of the genre.

“With recent advancements in technology, the music experience can and should be reimagined,” said Uchenna Nwokedinma, Founder and CEO of Whisul. “Our goal is to rethink the music experience lifecycle on a global scale.”

Beyond generation, Whisul is building the downstream layers of the music ecosystem, positioning itself not only as a creation tool, but as part of a broader infrastructure stack connecting production, distribution, and discovery.
