Syx Labs has officially rebranded as Cognito Systems, marking its evolution from an experimental tech studio into a systems-driven deep-tech company developing intelligent infrastructure across AI, blockchain, and smart systems.

The rebrand also introduces Martha AI, a customer support automation platform designed for businesses in the Web3, e-commerce, and fintech industries. Built to help companies streamline operations, improve response times, and scale efficiently, Martha AI reflects Cognito’s mission to turn advanced technology into practical systems that power real-world innovation.

“Syx Labs will always be our foundation,” said Moore Dagogo-Hart, Founder and CEO of Cognito Systems. “But this chapter is about precision, depth, and structure — turning the lessons from our early experiments into scalable systems that power real-world innovation.”

Founded in 2022, Syx Labs established its reputation by developing the underlying technology behind Zap Africa, a non-custodial crypto exchange and wallet co-founded by Dagogo-Hart, which now serves over 50,000 users and processes more than $2 million in monthly transactions. The company has since supported several African startups in building enterprise-grade AI and blockchain products.

Now operating as Cognito Systems, the company’s focus extends beyond product development to building the infrastructure that enables technology to work effectively for Africa. Its work spans from developing AI-powered systems that help enterprises automate and scale, to offering systems architecture consulting that supports both startups and corporates.

“We’re not just building technology for Africa,” Dagogo-Hart added. “We’re building systems that make technology work for Africa.”

Cognito Systems is guided by the principle of creating African-aware products — technology designed around the realities of the continent, not the assumptions of other markets. This includes mobile-first design, low-bandwidth optimisation, local payment integration, and adaptability to diverse infrastructure environments, all of which are reflected in its current product suite.

By 2026, Cognito Systems plans to expand its engineering teams and product lines to support global multi-market operations.
