FCSL Asset Management has announced the launch of InvestEd+, a mobile investment app designed to help Nigerians build market literacy using real-time Nigerian Exchange (NGX) data, before they ever place a trade.
The Nigerian capital market has long struggled to attract younger investors, and much of that hesitation comes down to unfamiliarity rather than disinterest. Financial markets are often taught in language that feels distant from everyday life, and for many first-time investors, that gap between curiosity and confidence is exactly where participation stalls. InvestEd+ was built to close that gap directly, giving users a space to understand the market on their own terms before they ever commit real money to it.
Rather than treating investing as a leap of faith, InvestEd+ treats it as a skill, one that can be practiced, understood, and built up over time. The app is structured around three core features, each addressing a different part of that learning curve. Demo Mode lets users trade NGX listed securities using live pricing and virtual capital, so every decision reflects real market conditions without any real financial risk. The Glossary sits alongside it as a standing reference, translating market terminology into plain language so that unfamiliar terms stop being a barrier to entry. And the Video Learning Library offers short, digestible videos that build financial literacy gradually, making it easy to pick up new understanding in just a few spare minutes at a time.
“Learn. Invest. Grow.” is more than a tagline for the app; it is the order of operations. InvestEd+ is built on the premise that confidence in the market is learned, not assumed, and that every investor deserves the space to practice before they commit real capital.
“InvestEd+ was built to close a real gap in the Nigerian Stock Market, where participation from the younger generation remains low largely because they don’t understand how the market works. This product exists to change that by building confidence first. Through the app’s Demo Section, users can participate in the market using virtual capital, learning to navigate real market conditions without risking a single naira. That is how we believe confidence should be built,” said Tope Omojokun, CEO of FCSL.
The launch is accompanied by FCSL’s #LearnedConfidence campaign, which frames investing not as something people are simply expected to know, but as something built deliberately, one informed decision at a time.
InvestEd+ is available now for free download on the App Store and Google Play.
