Credit Direct has announced the expansion of its digital investment capabilities through Yield, a suite of automated, high-return investment plans available on the Credit Direct Mobile App. The launch is part of the company’s broader push to provide accessible wealth-building tools to Nigerians seeking structured digital investment options.

Yield offers users two investment plans with annual returns of up to 21 percent on the Fixed Plan and up to 15 percent on the Flex Plan. The company says the product was built to address the growing demand for transparent, automated and regulated digital investment options in Nigeria’s evolving fintech landscape.

Responding to rising interest in digital investing

Digital investment activity in Nigeria has accelerated as more users adopt mobile-first financial tools to manage and grow their funds. Credit Direct notes that users increasingly prefer platforms that combine real-time visibility, predictable returns and automated contribution flows.

Nigerians want digital investment products that offer clarity, automation and strong returns within a secure environment. Yield was designed to meet these expectations while giving users flexibility based on their financial goals.

Two investment plans designed for different user needs

Yield introduces two main investment options:

Fixed Plan

A structured investment product offering up to 21 percent per annum, allowing users to select a duration and track projected growth directly from the app.

Flex Plan

A flexible product with returns of up to 15 percent per annum, enabling users to access their funds with up to four free withdrawals per month.

According to Credit Direct, both plans are designed to support daily, weekly or monthly automated contributions, helping users maintain consistency without manual input.

Additional features within Yield

The digital investment suite also includes Gift a Yield, which allows users to create an investment plan for another person directly within the app.

Credit Direct says that all Yield plans include transparent projections and real-time monitoring, ensuring users see expected earnings from the point of setup.

User onboarding and app journey

To begin investing, users can:

1. Download the Credit Direct Mobile App

2. Complete KYC verification using BVN or NIN

3. Fund their in-app wallet

4. Select a Fixed or Flex Yield plan

5. Monitor returns and transactions through the dashboard

The company notes that the process is designed to minimise friction and support quick onboarding.

Built on regulated financial infrastructure

Credit Direct is licensed and regulated by the Central Bank of Nigeria and operates as part of the FCMB Group. The organisation emphasises that compliance and user protection were core design considerations during the development of Yield.

“We built Yield on a regulated framework with security and transparency at the forefront,” said [Spokesperson Name]. “Users can track their contributions and projected returns at any time, which helps build trust in the investment process.”

Growing adoption among digital-first users

Credit Direct reports rising engagement from young professionals, micro-entrepreneurs and digital-first consumers who prefer mobile-based investment tools. The company expects Yield to support wider adoption of structured investing among Nigerians seeking predictable returns without complex financial processes.

Availability

Yield is now available on the Credit Direct Mobile App for both new and existing customers. More information is accessible through Credit Direct’s customer support channels.
