Airtel shortlists ideas for its Catapult-a-Startup Programme

After receiving what must have been thousands of applications from prospective entrepreneurs; and even having to extend the application deadline by 5 days, Airtel Nigeira has finally sent out invitations to the entrepreneurs with the shortlisted business ideas for the Catapult-a-Startup to their pitching event.

At the event, shortlisted candidates would present their ideas to a panel of judges, comprising of industry veterans from Airtel, Intel, Google, Microsoft, Mobile Monday and other great firms.

The pitching event details are:
Venue: Amphitheater (Level 3, Wing A), Airtel HQ, Plot L2, Banana Island, Ikoyi, Lagos
Dates: 4^th Feb, 2015
Time: 9 am – 2 pm

Participants are required to deliver a pitch presentation which describes their idea/product, team and vision on making it big through the Catapult-a-Startup program.

Airtel Nigeria launched the entrepreneurial initiative, ‘Catapult-a-Startup,’ last year to inspire innovation and assist startups to actualize their business goals and dreams.
