Wetech, a non-profit organisation committed to fostering gender equality by empowering women in the tech industry, is gearing up for the return of its highly anticipated flagship event—the Wetech 2024 Conference.
This year’s edition promises to be its most impactful yet, as Wetech celebrates five years of driving change under the theme: 5 Years of Women Redefining Technology and Entrepreneurship.
Scheduled for September 28, 2024, at the Landmark Event Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos, the conference is set to bring together over 1,500 women from diverse tech backgrounds.
The event will serve as both a celebration of Wetech’s achievements in empowering women and a launchpad for future innovations and leadership driven by women across Africa’s tech ecosystem and beyond.

PitchHER Competition
The PitchHER startup competition is an exciting opportunity for female technopreneurs to present their innovative startup ideas to a global audience and a panel of expert judges. Participants will compete for the grand prize of ₦4 million in funding, sponsored by Flutterwave.
The top three contestants will receive 12 months of free access to SpurtX. The competition offers startups the opportunity to elevate their businesses, gain recognition, and secure the tools needed to accelerate their growth.
