We are thrilled to announce the maiden edition of the Founders Connect Live event. Peace Itimi, the convener, in collaboration with Africhange and Tech1M, is bringing Founders Connect, your favourite YouTube show that spotlights founders and tells their stories in the most captivating way, to Lagos, Nigeria, on Saturday, July 8, 2023.
This event marks a significant milestone for Founders Connect, which has already showcased the stories and journeys of over 70 African tech founders and operators across Africa.
In a conversation with Techpoint Africa, Itimi pointed out that Founders Connect is organically building the repository of founders in Africa, and this event is bringing together the Founders Connect audience for a day of networking, sharing insights, fun, sports, and bringing the Nigerian startup ecosystem closer.
She said, “It’s a space for conversations that inspires people to think about how they can innovate, build, make a difference in their careers, and I think that’s what Founders Connect is. I also want people to have fun; we are working hard to create an environment where people actually connect with each other through networking and games.”
