ARM Labs Lagos Techstars Accelerator, a program designed to invest in, and foster the growth of African startups, is set for a highly anticipated Demo Day on March 16th, 2023. This invite-only event will take place at the prestigious Landmark Event Centre in Lagos, Nigeria.

Demo Day provides an opportunity for the inaugural cohort to display the results of their hard work and potential to key stakeholders in the African tech ecosystem. Showcasing their solutions at the event will also help the startups gain visibility, attract investments and create opportunities for further growth and success in the future.

The doors open at 12:30 PM for registration and networking. This is followed by an opening address by Oyin Solebo, the accelerators’ Managing Director. ARM Group CEO, Jumoke Ogundare, will also give a keynote address. The main event will commence at around 2 PM and feature pitches from the founders in the program.

There will also be a panel with Techstars-backed founders - Healthtracka CEO Ifeoluwa Dare-Johnson, Max.ng CEO and CTO Adetayo Bamiduro and Chinedu Azodoh, and others. Ike Eze, Managing Partner, Beta Ventures will have a fireside chat too. The event ends with a well-attended dinner with key stakeholders and decision makers in the tech ecosystem – another opportunity to network and build connections.

“This event is a celebration of the incredible progress the startups have made over the last 3 months, and will enable them to solidify lasting relationships with investors, industry experts and potential partners, while gaining valuable exposure and recognition in the African tech ecosystem,” said Techstars’ MD, Oyin Solebo.

Techstars has been investing in African startups since 2015, and has continued to propel innovation and entrepreneurship on the continent. By bringing together such a diverse range of attendees, the event offers a unique opportunity to connect and collaborate.

The class of 2022 consists of 10 Nigerian and 2 Kenyan startups across ecommerce, fintech, proptech, datatech, legaltech, insurtech and healthtech. After months of intense training, masterclasses, workshops, mentorships and building, the ARM Labs Lagos Techstars Accelerator program will be coming to an end on 17th of March 2023.
