Power sharing in Kenya

By now, it's no more news that Elon Musk officially intends to pull out of the Twitter deal. Not that anyone is surprised, but things could get really interesting.

On the Techpoint Africa Podcast, we discussed Ghana's bid for a digital currency and Kenya Power's plans to enable customers to share electricity units.

In Ghana, the Bank of Ghana has piloted the eCedi in Sefwi Asafo, a rural part of the country and joins the likes of Nigeria in creating a digital currency.

Over in Kenya, plans are underway to allow users to share their electricity bills. If you've shared your data with a friend, you understand this.
