It’s been a horrific few days for Nigerians. The attack at the St. Francis Catholic Church in Owo, Ondo State resulted in the death of over 50 persons. Gruesome videos flooded the Internet as calls for blood donations were made in the numbers.

The last few years have seen an increase in saddening deaths, kidnappings, and terrorist attacks in Nigeria, and that is one reason US-based logistics company, Zipline launched in Kaduna State, Nigeria on Friday, Jun 3, 2022.

The company uses unmanned aerial vehicles also known as drones as its carrier and will be used to deliver blood, medicines, and vaccines from a warehouse stocked by the Ministry of Health to local doctors and hospitals. We discussed this and possible — read impractical — problems the company might face as it begins operations.

We went from that to talking about the Yuga Labs Discord server hack which saw 200 ETH ($360,000) worth of NFTs stolen. You are probably more familiar with their Bored Ape Yacht Club product, which has 10,000 pictures of uninterested looking apes.
