Identity is a cloud-based customers/visitors management software which aims to eradicate the use of paper logs in offices and promote electronic means.
Launched on December 4, 2017, by Tochukwu Egesi (Team Lead) , Saheed Ajibulu (Chief Growth Officer) and Olagoke Okebukola (Chief Technical Officer), the web application helps visitors to sign in and out of an office and also help them book appointment easily from the convenience of their homes.
When a visitor logs in or books an appointment, the organisation receives an SMS and email notification which it can either accept or reject from a mobile device in 30 seconds based on the information provided by the visitor.
Aside helping with log, it also increases security, productivity and HR planning of an organisation while giving them the opportunity for interactive marketing. This is possible because according to team, Identity’s user interface is completely customisable to the brand.
We found out that visitors go through pains and stress when trying to book an appointment with an official in an organisation. Our application helps to ease the stress and give visitors some feeling of importance”.
Although Identity claims to have the first mover advantage, it will be interesting to see how it scales in the long run.
