Seedstars World is a global pitch event organized by Swiss investment company, Seedstars, and the third pitch event in Africa has begun taking applications. Lagos hosts the pitch event following two events in the series already, held in Maputo and Johannesburg.
Interested entrepreneurs can pre-apply here to get an invitation code to the event. The application deadline is July 12, and The Lagos pitch day is on July 31, 2015.
The SeedStars World Lagos jury consists of Simeon Ononobi, Simplepay’s CEO, Tunji Eleso, director at CcHub, Ike Eze, Executive Director at eTranzact and Marcello Schermer, Seedstars World Regional manager, Africa.
The 12 finalists from across Africa will compete with finalists from other Seedstars World regions for $1.5 million in equity investment at the global finals next February in Switzerland.
