I have never found any reason to use BBM stickers rather than smileys or emojis; and the fact that there’s an extra step to be taken to get smileys is not even helping but I’m guessing stickers are still around because some people, some place use them.
Anyway, for the first time since the introduction of BBM stickers, many Nigerians [totally an assumption because the stickers are great!] would be paying $1.99 in devalued Naira [#400] for a new sticker set. Because the stickers would probably tickle all our fancies; it is a “Naija” sticker set, with common Nigerian slangs illustrated on each of the twenty stickers present in the set.
It is whimsical and it will drive up BBM engagement [again, total assumption. the stickers are really great!] But, BlackBerry would welcome the hope seeing as they are running a N10,000,000 promotion in a bid to acquire new users.
