Making its debut in West Africa last year, the Ampion Venture Bus is here again. Applications are currently open to interested participants. Last year, HalEbola, a platform that facilitates public education on Ebola, emerged winner in the region.
With the mission to inspire and connect while empowering entrepreneurs across the continent, Ampion will in the 2015 edition roll out 5 buses across the continent – 1 up from 2014. For West Africa, the buses are scheduled to run from September 17th to 23rd.
Unlike before, there would be startup schools to train entrepreneurs on site, and there are specific topics for each bus. Participants on the West African route have their topics to include, but not limited to, eHealth, FinTech and Governance.
The initiative has helped launched numerous startups in the past, some of which include Sterio, SaiSai, Modisar among others.
Ampion Venture Bus at the African Development Bank annual meeting held earlier, promised to launched 40 new startups. Don’t be left out, apply now.
