Global Azure Bootcamp Lagos

The global event is meant to introduce developers to Azure and the opportunities this cloud platform brings. Most of these normal Azure Boot Camp events are run by user group leaders all across Nigeria. All communities will come together once again in the sixth great Global Azure Bootcamp event. Each user group will organize their own one-day deep dive class on Azure the way they see fit and how it works for their members. For now, we can confirm that there is a Lagos edition and Kaduna edition.

Lagos Blockchain Hackathon

The Lagos Blockchain Hackathon in collaboration with the Government of Canada will be holding a Hackathon. They are inviting all entrepreneurs, innovators, developers, and community members to come learn about the cutting edge technology, Blockchain, and develop solutions. Participants will gain educational knowledge on how to start, and also working with Blockchain and have assistance in building prototypes.

The aim is to build solutions that can be piloted with the Government of Canada's initiative to trial Blockchain solutions.The event is being organized by Seso Globlal with the Candian High Commission of Nigeria, Consensys, UPort, PlotPeer, and Gidi VC.

2018 AR/VR Africa Hackathon: Lagos

This is a call to those who love creativity, innovation and learning. The AR/VR Africa Hackathon is an opportunity to learn about Augmented and Virtual Reality, other immersive technologies, meet new people, and get hands-on experience with AR/VR design and development. The AR/VR hackathon will last 48 hours and focus on the rapidly evolving immersive technologies of Augmented and Virtual Reality. It isn’t just about technology. It’s also about design, creation, and problem-solving. If you have an interest in art, graphics, 3D modelling, film, education, sound design, game design, or business, you will enjoy the AR/VR hackathon.
