Hardly a week pass without having a number of events happening in different regions across Nigeria. Likewise, a few tech events are happening this week and we have curated them for you.

forLoop Ibadan

Software developers in Oyo state will be conveying in Ibadan for the forLoop Ibadan event themed; “The software development lifecycle. The event will present an opportunity to engage in activity that will ensure efficiency while developing software. forLoop Ibadan will feature a distinctive set of speakers who are passionate about software development.

Creativity Chat

Co-creation Hub is organising a chat with the creative director of GM4FM, Fashion Designer and Vocal Coach, Gogo Majin in its next edition of Creativity Chat. The event would be looking at how the tech space can replicate the successes of industries such as fashion, art, music.

For what it’s worth, this looks like an interesting event and it is free to attend.

CODEFEST NIGERIA

Organised by Ideapreneur, CODEFEST NIGERIA is a Hackathon event that brings together computer programmers, software developers, graphic designers and user interface specialists along with industry process experts and professionals to identify issues and create software solutions as a challenge within 48 hours. The purpose of this two-day event is to help students and entrepreneurs convert coding skills to building a technology-driven economy.

The event is open to interested developers and young innovators who are looking to build future solutions. You can register here.

CODIFY

CODIFY is a tech meetup event for coders, tech enthusiast, students and relevant stakeholders in the technology space in Nigeria. The inaugural event will focus on ideation (sharing tech ideas) and coding (coding for fun) upon which participant stand the chance to learn, win and network.

The event will feature pitching competition and important discussions that impact the community. CODIFY is an initiative of Vatebra Academy & Vatebra Limited.

The event is free and open to anyone that is interested. But you can book your seat here.
