Yesterday, the Co-creation Hub took to Twitter to announce Damilola Teidi as its new Director on Incubation. Damilola takes over from Tunji Elesho, who before now also doubled as -- and still remains -- Managing Partner/Director, Growth Capital by CcHub.
Today is a great plus one news day at the Hub! We are uber glad to announce that Damilola Teidi (@damiteidi) is re-joining our team as Director of Incubation at #CcHUB.
Damilola was the CEO of @gomywayafrica, the defunct ride-sharing platform. pic.twitter.com/Js0DTyA2fs— CcHUB Africa (@Cc_HUB) February 5, 2018
You may remember Damilola as the CEO of GoMyWay, the CcHub-incubated ride-sharing platform that shut down last September, after barely 2 years of operation, due to lack of further financial backing. It was quite a painful exit, especially as GoMyWay had received a lot of attention for being backed by many well-known personalities including Konga founder, Sim Shagaya and former Amazon and Naspers executive Bill Paladino.
Hopefully, Damilola has finally found a way to put all that behind her. Asides having first hand experience as a CcHub incubatee, Damilola once served as a Business Analyst with CcHub's incubation team. She should fit into the role with relative ease.
In other related news, CcHub also announced the transitioning of Desiree Craig -- the former Practice Lead, CcHub re:learn -- to the role of Head of Product Development.
She will now work closely with a 12–man product team.
Join us in wishing her well. #CcHUB— CcHUB Africa (@Cc_HUB) February 5, 2018
We wish Damilola and Desiree all the best in their new roles.
