Weekly Tech Events #2: Ignite Series, TechSummitOgun and conference

This week is filled with quite a lot of impactful event happening around Nigeria. Interestingly, tech events aren’t left out. We have taken out time to curate a couple of ones that might interest you


The Ignite series is a monthly event that is designed to encourage amongst youths through learning, experience and network. The January series, themed “Mastering Your Idea” will have Adewale Yusuf, CEO Techpoint.ng and Seyi Abolaji, founder Wilsons Juice, take participants on how to source for the essentials of building a team in birthing ideas to life.

So if you are a student or a recent graduate, you should do well to register this free event.

TechSummitOgun 2018

The purpose of the TechSummitOgun is to reposition Ogun state in such a way that there is increased contribution to the digital economy. Themed “Disruptive Innovation; Where are we?” TechSummitOgun will foster a community where innovators, investors and entrepreneurs seeking to stimulate an awakening of opportunities by leveraging technology and home-grown innovation for the development of Ogun State. The event will also present an opportunity to meet and network with a diverse number of technology leaders who will be sharing experience and idea regarding the tech ecosystem in Nigeria.

Registration is free, so do well to register if you find this event interesting.

Date: 18th, January 2018

Time: 8 AM – 5 PM

Venue: June 12 Cultural Centre Kuto, Abeokuta Ogun State.


Lofty Height Conference

This is an annual inspiration and mind-provoking gathering designed to help career professionals live a purposeful life.  The event boast of featuring eminent personalities across Nigeria who would contribute to the discussion. The 2018 event is themed “ReThink”.
