This week, for a change, Nigerian superstars Wizkid and Davido are not in the news as rivals but as two Nigerians making the nation proud. At this year's edition of the MOBO awards, Wizkid won the Best International Act award while Davido won in the Best African Act category.

All beef aside, Davido & Wizkid have successfully duopolized African music this year. There's literally nobody on their level right now across the continent.
If only they (and their fans) could see the bigger picture.

Adesua post a bikini picture of herself on IG, puts on a lingerie in a movie we see it as normal. Banky W mistakenly puts up a snapchat video revealing she's on Bikini and we are shouting.

Slavery in Libya
If you have been following the news, then you probably already heard of the inhumane act of human trafficking going on in Libya. The news had been on for weeks now but it caught major fire this week when CNN published an exclusive report.
The report birthed the #NoToSlavery hashtag on Twitter and Instagram and the "No to Slavery in Libya" campaign on Facebook.
Here are a few reactions from Nigerians
A nigga made it back home from Libya..he's been there since July 2016...bro this nigga looks like a walking Skeleton, he was sold twice, raped, beaten, abused and all..Funny thing is, he was sold to the Libyan rebels by the Nigerian who promised him Europe
— Area51🥴🥴 (@Virus_pluto) November 26, 2017
It is too risky to be alive in Nigeria. The torture, lynching and slave auction in Libya are inhumane but I would rather not be a living corpse in my own fatherland.
Breathing isn't enough reason to assume we're alive. What can be done?@segalink @DrJoeAbah
— Oyomwan O. Jio (@OyomwanO) November 30, 2017
Slavery in today's world is as despicable as it was centuries ago. But beyond slavery, we are losing young African migrants in their thousands to hunger, starvation, boat mishaps and other travel hazards in their search for greener pastures across the Meditteranean... #Libya
— Ohimai Amaize (@MrFixNigeria) November 29, 2017
Fix Nigeria!
What are the youth unemployment/underemployment levels in Nigeria?
Last time I heard, they were about 50%
(Unless we deal with this problem, it will take a miracle to prevent Nigerian youths from risking their lives in Libya).
— Onye Nkuzi (@cchukudebelu) November 27, 2017
The immediate solution the slavery of Nigerians in Libya is to put pressure on the Libyan authorities. However, the long term solution is providing jobs and a good business climate back home in Nigeria. If we do the first without doing the second, Libyan slavery will happen again

Travel round Nigeria, look in the faces of the citizens, ask simple questions like "how are you doing?" the large percentage of the response would tell you why our brightest and strongest young minds would rather go sell themselves into slavery in Libya.
— EDAFE MATTHEW ESEOGHENE (@ELEGBETE1) November 30, 2017
Nigeria is a failed state. A disgrace. First the 20+ drowned women in Italy which had no state representative and now the captured slaves in Libya. This is the end result of a country not looking after its citizens

— . (@teewhizzle) November 30, 2017
It appears Konga just did a MASSIVE layoff. Tragic timing for a few hundred people to lose their jobs on the eve of December
However hard decisions need to be made sometime for the good of the company. It must be really hard for everyone involved.
If you're hiring, put word out
