This week, for a change, Nigerian superstars Wizkid and Davido are not in the news as rivals but as two Nigerians making the nation proud. At this year's edition of the MOBO awards, Wizkid won the Best International Act award while Davido won in the Best African Act category.

Slavery in Libya

If you have been following the news, then you probably already heard of the inhumane act of human trafficking going on in Libya. The news had been on for weeks now but it caught major fire this week when CNN published an exclusive report.

The report birthed the #NoToSlavery hashtag on Twitter and Instagram and the "No to Slavery in Libya" campaign on Facebook.

Konga makes some changes

Yesterday, Nigerian eCommerce giant, Konga reportedly sacked 60% of its workforce and discontinued Pay on Delivery (PoD).

It's really sad that the company had to lay off so many people especially at this time of the year.
