Pukena is attempting to solve the problem encountered when finding vetted hands for services such as home maintenance, vehicle repairs, event management, pet care and more. As an online service delivery platform, Pukena will connect users with verified service providers within their neighbourhood.
The founder, Emmanuel Udeagha launched the platform in July 2017 with his 4-man team; Ferdinand Aneke (CTO), Godwin Nzekwe (CMO), Chilasa Anosike (in charge of personnel), and Elizabeth Jones (CFO).
Pukena has aggregated different service providers based on categories in different locations so that customers can easily find them and place their orders through the website. Although Glorby provides a similar solution, Emmanuel says they'd stand out by paying extra attention to details.
For instance, each service provider will be assigned a relationship manager who accompanies him/her to the client's home and monitors the work. As a result, there will be zero tolerance for customers' dissatisfaction. And basic worries (such as trust, competence and safety) that characterise outsourcing tasks --especially in homes -- are eliminated.
For initial users, Pukena is offering a welcome package: a free cleaning service. You may take advantage of this by visiting the website.
