Did you know that 70% of smoked fish exported from Nigeria to the United Kingdom is rejected by UK customs on grounds of poor processing standards. By our guesstimates, this has amounted to a loss of around £15.4 million in foreign revenue, from the UK alone, over a 17-year period.
