The food industry is one which continues to boom and Maryam Abubakar isn’t taking a back seat. On March 4, 2017, she launched Restmeal, an online platform where users can order food from their favourite eateries and have it delivered to them in a stipulated time.
How Restmeal works
Thanks to the simplicity of the website, users will encounter no complication in using the platform. Ordering on Restmeal is in three phases. First, the user signs up by filling in contact details, among which are names, billing/delivery addresses, etc. Then, the user proceeds to select his/her order from the pool of meals available. After which, the user checks out.
Asides food delivery, Restmeal also offers catering services for birthday parties, seminars, meetings and any other events. Cinza, Naildish, Cartmart and Isabifood are competitors in the food niche. However, knowing time is of the essence, Maryam banks on fast delivery as her competitive edge. If she can prove her worth on this, she is sure to earn a significant amount of loyal customers as there’s only so much patience a hungry stomach could have.
Restmeal is currently servicing only users in Bayero University Kano but promises to extend their services in a month time.
If you are around the University, you may head to the website to order some delicious meal.
