The next edition of DEMO Africa Innovation Tour will be happening in Lagos this month. The annual tech demo and launch event connects African startups to the global ecosystem, including VCs, investors, tech acquisition specialists, IT buyers and media from across the region and around the globe. Startups with innovative products in any of the underlisted areas are invited to come and pitch:
Banking and finance, agriculture, health, education, manufacturing, retail, media and entertainment, communication, transport and logistics, energy, water and sanitation, waste management and recycling.
After the pitch, a few selected Nigerian startups will get winning entries to the DEMO Africa 2017 event on the 6th — 7th of September 2017 in Johannesburg, South Africa.
DEMO Africa is one of the flagship initiatives of [email protected] founded by the U.S. Department of State, in collaboration with Microsoft, DEMO, USAID, and Startup Weekend.
At the DEMO Africa 2016 innovation tour, two of the startups that pitched got selected to pitch at the final event in South Africa.
