Google HashCode 2017
Google HashCode 2017 is a global competition for tech developers to solve real life engineering problem with the help of Google. To compete in Hash Code, you will need to form a team of two to four people. Teams are formed in the Judge System, but first everyone in your team must fill the registration form individually.
Within 48 hours of submitting the form, you will be able to log into the Judge System to register your team. If your team plans to participate from a hub for the Online Qualification Round, you will need to log into the Judge System to select the hub.

Lagos Geeks and Techpreneur Meetup
This event is the rallying point for developers, tech enthusiasts, startup founders and entrepreneurs running or developing businesses that make use of technology. Discussions will be centered on programming tools as a front-end/backend developer, kickstarting a programming career
The theme of the meetup is “How to Run a Successful Tech Venture”. This is a free event but pre-registeration is required and only 100 slots are available.

Social Media Week 2017
Social Media Week 2017 is closer than you think. The extensive impacts of technologies on communication and the consequent transformative effects on African communities in recent years will be the major focus of this year’s Social Media Week Lagos.
Social Media Week is a week-long annual event that provide platforms for the exploration and exchange of ideas and insights on how social media and technology impact business, society, and culture.
