Weekly Tech Events #7: Meetups for developers and entrepreneurs

This week, we have curated tech events that are mainly for software developers and entrepreneurs to get resources for building a tech business in Nigeria.

Here is a list of tech events happening this week (Monday, 13th February – Monday, 20th February, 2017).

TensorFlow Dev Summit Extended Viewing Party

This meetup will feature the live streaming of TensorFlow‘s (Google’s ML Library) first developer summit. Talks on ML using TensorFlow for beginners will be given and practical code labs on TensorFlow will held.

CFA’s Startups Hangout: Staying focused against a all odds

CFA’s Startups Hangout is a monthly meetup where entrepreneurs meet, network, learn and grow. At this month’s meetup, CFAtech.ng will help connect startups with successful entrepreneurs and top executives who have had similar experiences along the journey.

Attendance for the hangout is free but must be confirmed due to the limited number of seats. Only confirmed participants will be allowed entry.

MainOne Nerds Unite 2017

Nerds Unite 2017, which is a one-day programme, will be host to influencers, decision makers and professionals from blue-chip organisations operating in all sectors in Nigeria.

Some of the key speakers are: Ifeanyi Amah — National Technology Officer at Microsoft Nigeria, Roberto Neisser Regional Director – Radware, Olayemi Joseph — Chief Enterprise Solutions Architect at Huawei.

The theme for this event is ‘Disruptive technology: Achieve more with less’. Participants will connect, network, share ideas, discover new opportunities and discuss breakthrough trends in the global IT space.
