Recently, we explored how older folks struggle to understand digital tools. Their zeal to get involved in the latest digital trends often pushes them to pester the younger generation, who find repetitive explanations so tiring and boring.
Fortunately the young generation of tech enthusiasts can now heave a sigh of relief, as the Co-creation Hub (CcHub) has stepped up to the rescue with the introduction of DIGnified.
DIGnified is a 4-week program intended to get the elderly -- aged 55 and above -- acquainted with digital technology. In bid to help them learn at their own pace, CcHub aspires to hold training sessions, which would expose participants to basic and advanced concepts of digital technology, thrice a week.

According to CcHub, the curriculum would bring the older generation up to speed with today's digital tools at their own pace in one month. Would it be then safe to say that the long craving -- of the older generation -- to belong in an evolving digital world might become reality after all? The remains to be seen; we await the emergence of the first successful applicants.
If there is one thing technology has proven again, it is that what is good for the goose is also good for the gander. Indeed, it would be our pride to see the older generation rapport with the new when talking about digital space.
