Global venture capital seed fund and startup accelerator 500 Startups has extended the deadline for startups to join their 500 Seed Program.
500 Seed Program is a 4-month accelerator for startups that looks to give them advice, money, guidance and network. The extension for Batch 20 of the program was announced via their official Twitter handle.

In June the Silicon Valley Venture Capital firm with over $175 million under management was looking to invest $25 million in early stage Black and Latino.
By October, we reported that they already had eyes on Nigeria with an intended first set of investments in Nigerian tech companies.

This goes to show that startups from Africa stand an equal chance for consideration when they apply to the program.
