SpeedUp Africa, a 4 Day Growth & Investment focused Startup Bootcamp for African startups will be hosting the 2016 competition in Ashesi University, Ghana. The organisers of SpeedUP Africa have promised a “full Execution Mode” style of bootcamp, with workshops, breakout sessions, Q&As, mentor sessions, group activities, investments, connections, and more.
The idea is to make those 4 days a defining period in the life of your startup. SpeedUP Sessions with 500 Startups will involve one-on-one mentorship, workshops, office hours, growth hacking, $10k in startup toolkits for each startup while Deal Day with DraperDarkFlow & other investors will invest over $1,000,000 in the coolest startups. To apply for the Deal Day, click here to visit the application page.
If you are already calculating the cost of attending SpeedUP Africa in Ghana, you just have to pay for your flight to Ghana and the organisers will cover the rest – airport pickup, accommodation, feeding.
Only startups with live products or prototypes will be considered and the deadline for applying is June 1, 2016. Selected startups will be announced on June 5, 2016. The Bootcamp will hold in Ashesi University, Ghana between July 6 and 10, 2016. For more information you can visit SpeedUP Africa official page.
