The 2016 Edition of Social Media Week Lagos will kick off on Monday, the 22nd of this month. These are happy times again for those who enjoyed last year's event and have been looking forward to the current one.

For the uninitiated, Social Media Week Lagos is a week-long conference that provides the ideas, trends, insights and inspiration to help people and businesses understand how to achieve more in a hyper-connected world. More like a group of like minded people gathering together in one place for over a week to brainstorm. There is so much to learn over that period from professionals and even so much to impart. And it is a perfect opportunity to network; see and be seen.

And as usual, there are a ton of events -- 147 in number this year, 12 more than last year -- to choose from, but you cannot possibly attend one-fifth of the events there are. To help you with pointers, here are a few events we think you might want to consider.
