Jovago goes to Ghana

Jovago recently announced their presence in Ghana. Jovago was already present in Tanzania,Senegal, Cameroon, Algeria, Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Ivory Coast and Nigeria.

Jovago facilitates the booking process for its users to provide them with the best hotel booking experience with fast, transparent and easy-to-use services. Jovago.com has over 25,000 local hotel listings across Africa and over 200,000 hotels around the world.

Jovago's former Managing Director in Nigeria Marek Zmyslowski, recently  stepped down from his role to further his ambition as a local investor in Nigeria. Marek has been the company’s Nigerian Managing Director for more than 2 and half years. And Kushal Dutta, former head of Revenue Management took over the office from him.

The office in Ghana was established to increase brand awareness and visibility in the country and beyond by educating travelers and tourists around the world about Ghana and Africa at large. It would be headed by Claire Staal, a  graduate of the Hotel Management School in Maastricht. She has worked for big chains like Sheraton Hotel Pudong (China) and Hilton Worldwide(South Africa).
