Focus Hub is now accepting applications for its incubation program. The Port Harcourt-based business and technology innovation hub in the Niger-Delta region of Nigeria is passionate about helping entrepreneurs in the region. The incubation program will create a platform for entrepreneurs to launch and scale their businesses through collaborative ideation, marketing, sales and fundraising.
The hub will provide entrepreneurs with mentorship & coaching, office space & resources, networking & introduction to venture capital firms, access to funding, among other things.
Eligible startups must be in the early or growth stage and based in one of the nine Niger-Delta states – Delta, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Rivers, Abia, Cross River, Edo, Imo, and Ondo. Shortlisted applicants will participate in a pitching contest for a chance to be accepted into the 6 month incubation program – this could be renewed subject to conditions and performance.
Interested entrepreneurs and startups should apply for the program on or before October 20, 2015. It is open to both male and female entrepreneurs.
Focub Hub was founded by Godson Ohuruogu and Ikechukwu Uche – two Nigerian alumni of the University of Leeds. The duo is passionate about fostering technology innovation and entrepreneurship across the Niger Delta region.
